Despite being a devoted coffee drinker, I attended my first TEA Party on Saturday (Oct 24) at Woodbridge, NJ. In spite of the rain, I had a great time. I saw
something on the net that the thugs from the SEIU were supposed to be there, but they probably weren't paid enough to brave the rain.
There were a number of great speakers, which included my friend and Independent Candidate for NJ Governor
Jason Cullen, Mike Illions from
Conservatives With Attitude! and the organizer for this event and Independent Candidate for NJ Assembly in the 19th District
Jim Poesl.
However, the highlight of the day (sorry Jason, it wasn't you) was an inspirational speech by Dr. Alan Keyes. Took some photos and some video with my phone (yes, I am on the cutting edge of technology), wish I could post them here.
